JeVon McCormick is the former President & CEO of Scribe Media, a company that helps authors write, publish, and market their books. He served in this role from March 2016 to May 2023.1

Under McCormick's leadership, Scribe Media was recognized as:

However, in May 2023, McCormick announced his resignation as CEO in a LinkedIn post, taking accountability for recent layoffs, his own absence from the company during a difficult time, and poor communication with Scribe's employees, authors, and freelancers.2

In his leadership philosophy, McCormick believes in "Putting People First" and emphasizes that leaders should serve their teams rather than command them. He rejects the traditional "boss-employee" dynamic in favor of an approach where everyone works together towards common goals.3
