Jessie Schiavone is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse and distinguished background, characterized by a steadfast commitment to core values such as integrity, discipline, and teamwork. With eight years of service as a Naval Flight Officer and Mission Commander in an aircraft carrier-launched electronic attack jet, Jessie has exhibited exceptional leadership skills and forged very strong relationships with divisio teams through time-sensitive and mission-critical engagements. Served two tours of duty over Iraq, Jessie was awarded an Air Medal for accumulated time in a combat zone.

After her Naval career, Jessie turned her passion and focus towards the utilities industry where she devoted the last 15 years developing expertise and thought leadership in power grid efficiency and resiliency, from transmission and distribution to behind-the-meter tech. Jessie has worked with some of the largest gas and electric utilities and game-changing energy startups in the industry, building high performance, mission-focused teams using her Navy leadership experience.

With a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Political Science from the United States Naval Academy, an MBA in Business-IT Strategy with Honors from Boston University, and a certificate in Artificial Intelligence from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Jessie has positioned herself as a thought leader in the energy industry. She has been PMP certified and held a TSS/CI clearance from 1999-2007.

Jessie's experience in advocating for sustainability in her community and beyond is noteworthy. She served on the Board of Trustees of Green Street Academy, a Baltimore City-based public charter school with an embedded sustainability program, from 2011-2019. Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley appointed her to the Board of Directors of the Maryland Clean Energy Center in 2014-2016. As a volunteer (and former President of the Board of Directors) of CASA Baltimore, a non-profit organization that provides advocacy services for children in the city's foster care system, Jessie has been actively involved since 2011-2020.
