Jessie Foest

Jessie Foest is a dedicated individual with a strong passion for plant science, masting and ecological research, geography, nature conservation, and community outreach. With an academic background in Forest and Nature Conservation, Sustainability, and Cinematography and Film/Video Production, Jessie brings a diverse set of skills and knowledge to the table.

Jessie completed a Master's Degree in Forest and Nature Conservation with an impressive grade average of 8/10 at Wageningen University. Prior to this, Jessie excelled in a Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability, graduating Summa cum laude with a GPA of 3.9/4.0 from Leiden University. Furthermore, Jessie pursued secondary education at Eerste Christelijk Lyceum and also engaged in a course on 'Creating a short movie' at Open Studio Amsterdam.

Throughout Jessie's professional journey, they have gained valuable experience in various organizations. This includes roles such as Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Liverpool, PhD student at Forest Research (University of Reading), Project Assistant at AbelTalent, Sales Assistant at Bever, and MSc Internship at Echo. Additionally, Jessie contributed as a Tutor at Bijlesbureau StudentsPlus Nederland, Secretary of the Master Commission at Sylvatica Student Association, and in positions related to arts, catering, and management in diverse settings.
