Jessie Akkermans

Jessie Akkermans is a successful entrepreneur and CEO of Doggies in Town, a platform that connects dog owners with businesses that cater to their pets. Prior to this venture, Akkermans cofounded and directed Equal Colombian Products, as well as Enamorados. She also worked as a logistics professional at Huisman Group b.v. and held various marketing and event coordination positions at both Brickell Wines LLC and Artitude b.v. Akkermans earned a Master's degree in Business Administration and Bachelor's degrees in Communications and Public Relations from Nichols College, EU Business School, and Arnhem Business School, respectively.

As an avid dog lover, Akkermans is passionate about creating a fun and inclusive community for dog owners to spend more time with their furry friends. She identifies the need for accessible and accommodating businesses and services that facilitate more quality time between owners and their pets.
