Jessica Ward

Jessica Ward is an experienced professional with a background in emergency management, technical writing, and education. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Nicholls State University and has studied Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management at the Community College of the Air Force. Jessica currently serves as an Emergency Management Specialist at Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) while pursuing certification in EC-6 through the Texas Teachers Alternative Certification program.

With six years of emergency management experience, Jessica has previously worked as an Emergency Manager at the Air National Guard and as a Recovery Center Director at Options for Independence. Her skill set also includes three years of technical writing experience gained during her tenure at Forefront Emergency Management, L.P. In addition to her professional roles, Jessica has a passion for education, reflected in her past position as a Teacher at KinderCare Education.
