Jessica Vitos

Jessica Vitos is a highly educated Investment Analyst with a strong scientific background in oncology and cell biology. She obtained her bachelor’s and PhD degrees in Biochemistry and Oncology at the prestigious Universitat de Barcelona, and she also studied at the IMIM – Hospital del Mar and the University of Oviedo. Her prior work experience includes working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB) Barcelona, where she researched the role of stress-activated kinases during the progression of lung cancer. She was also a research fellow at the IRB and University of Osnabrueck, studying Drosophila physiology, muscle physiology and degeneration. Additionally, she studied Entrepreneurship for scientists at ESADE Business and Law School, which has allowed her to combine her scientific knowledge with investment analysis, currently working as an Investment Analyst at Ysios Capital. Her skills and expertise include venture capital, impact investing, healthcare, oncology, cell signaling, and analyzing scientific foundations and business proposals of early and mid-stage therapeutic companies.
