“Build an extraordinary company, in good company.”
This phrase, “in good company” has felt like a fitting rallying cry for us at Adverb. Even though it was just @aunder and I sitting together at my kitchen table two years ago, building Adverb has always been a team sport — from the LPs who chose to partner with us, the fellow fund managers who generously shared their hard-won wisdom, to the founders who trust us on their cap table.
Now, we’re a small but mighty crew of four with the amazing, dynamic, and talented @LizaGurtin and @Gary_Pesola joining us.
And we’ve backed 22 incredibly inspiring startups and welcomed 43 founders to our community. I’m proud of what we’ve done and even more fired up about where we’re going. 🚀
Every time I take an Uber I feel car sick. Can’t wait for Waymo to expand.
