Jessica's academic journey includes studies at various institutions such as Humboldt State University, The Grant Writing Institute, and New Mexico State University, where she pursued a Bachelor's in Business.

Throughout her career, Jessica has been actively involved in diverse organizations, holding roles such as Business and Career Coach, Professional Mentor at Full Light Coaching, Special Projects Consultant at Ask Jessica, Program Development Manager at Sonoma County Human Services Department, Employment and Training Program Coordinator at County of Humboldt, Administrative Analyst at Humboldt County DHHS, Case Manager at Humboldt Mediation Services, and Resident Director at both Humboldt State University and New Mexico State University. Additionally, she served as the Wave Program Coordinator and Project Coordinator for the VAWA Campus Project at La Pinon Sexual Assault Recovery Services of Southern NM.
