Jessica Moore
Lo Graduate Fellow - PhD Candidate at Yale University
Jessica Moore is a PhD candidate in the laboratory of Dr. Valentina Greco in the Department of Genetics at Yale University. She has been studying epidermal stem cell homeostasis using intravital imaging techniques.2 Moore's research focuses on exploring patterns of calcium signaling in the basal stem cell layer of murine skin, and she has developed an unsupervised machine learning method called Geometric Scattering Trajectory Homology (GSTH) to analyze spatial and temporal calcium signaling patterns.1
During her time in the Greco lab, Moore has received several honors and recognitions:
- She was awarded the Lo Graduate Fellowship for Excellence in Stem Cell Research in 2019.2
- Moore was selected to give a talk at the Calcium and Cell Function Conference.3
- She also presented a talk at the Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) on Epithelialization and Keratinization, which was selected for presentation at the main Gordon Research Conference (GRC).3
Jessica Moore has been a PhD student in the Greco lab from 2017 to 2023.1 After completing her PhD, she moved on to become a Postdoctoral Associate at Duke University in the United States.1
