Jessica Kim

Jessica KIM is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in political science and development studies.

She holds an Hon. B.A. in Political Science from the University of Toronto and an M.A. in Development Studies from York University.

Jessica has gained extensive experience in the humanitarian sector, having worked in various capacities at prominent organizations like the World Food Programme and ACTED.

Her roles have included Deputy Head of Programme, Head of Digital Solutions, and Multi-Wallet Officer at the World Food Programme.

At ACTED, Jessica has served as Deputy Country Director, Operations, Cash & Distribution Technical Coordinator, Roving Distribution Program Manager, and Distribution Program Manager.

Prior to her work in the humanitarian field, Jessica held positions such as Communications & Advocacy Officer at Forum for African Women Educationalists Kenya (FAWEK), Marketing Project Manager at Strategy Institute, and Community Events Assistant at Terry Fox Foundation.

With a strong foundation in political science and development studies, combined with practical experience in program management, digital solutions, and advocacy, Jessica KIM is a dynamic professional dedicated to making a positive impact in the humanitarian sector.
