Jessica Areen

Jessica Areen is a registered psychological assistant in private practice with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in clinical psychology, law, and sociology.

She pursued her PsyD in Clinical Psychology at The Wright Institute, Doctor of Law - JD in Constitutional Law and Taxation at Duke University School of Law, MA in Sociology at Stanford University, and BA in Human Biology at Stanford University, and completed the International Baccalaureate Program at Mira Loma High School.

Jessica has been associated with various organizations, including serving as the Chief Intern at the Pre-doctoral Psychology Internship Program at California Pacific Medical Center, Department of Psychiatry.

She has also held roles such as Co-Chair at SF Psychotherapy Forum and Secretary & Member of the Board of Trustees at San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis, demonstrating her commitment to mental health advocacy and community involvement.

Jessica's professional journey includes diverse experiences, including being a Teaching Assistant at The Wright Institute, a PsyD Intern in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at Mission Mental Health Clinic, and a Psychotherapy Intern at Options Recovery Services.

Her background also extends to the legal field, where she served as a Venture Capital & Tax Associate at Cooley LLP and as a Legal Intern to Legal Affairs Correspondent Nina Totenberg at National Public Radio, showcasing her multidisciplinary expertise and interests.
