Jesse Greenspan's Career at Partners In Health
Jesse Greenspan is currently the Managing Director of International Operations at Partners In Health (PIH), a role he has held since February 2022.2 In this position, he leads a team of 20 professionals working across eight country sites on various operational functions such as pharmacy, sourcing, logistics, facilities, and reporting.2

Greenspan first joined PIH in 2008 as a Procurement Program Assistant, where he addressed logistical needs, coordinated in-kind donations, managed international shipments, and created inventory tracking systems for PIH's programs in Haiti, Rwanda, Lesotho, and Malawi.2 He later served as the Associate Director of Supply Chain in 2018.2
Greenspan's Background
Greenspan completed his undergraduate degree in Government at Wesleyan University, focusing on International Relations.1 He received his MSPH in International Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, including work in Liberia and Tanzania, and received a certificate in Health and Humanitarian Logistics from the Georgia Institute of Technology.14
Prior to joining PIH, Greenspan worked as a Financial Coordinator at Cambridge Cares About AIDS, where he developed administrative policies and procedures, managed accounts payable and receivable, and supervised staff.2
Greenspan's Impact at PIH
Under Greenspan's leadership, PIH has made significant strides in improving access to essential medications, supplies, and equipment in the countries it serves.23 His work has helped ensure uninterrupted, timely delivery of these critical items, contributing to better clinical outcomes for patients.3
Greenspan has also played a key role in the development and implementation of OpenBoxes, an open-source software that has revolutionized supply chain management for PIH and other organizations.3 The software enables real-time tracking of inventory, requests, and deliveries, allowing for more accurate forecasting and fewer stock-outs.3
