Jess Houlgrave

Jess Houlgrave is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance, blockchain, and digital assets. She is currently the CEO of Reown, previously WalletConnect Inc., where she focuses on enhancing Web3 wallet usability and scaling solutions for the crypto ecosystem.13

Before this role, Jess served as Chief Operating Officer at Edge, showcasing her leadership in operational management within the Web3 and blockchain space.2 Her career spans various impactful roles, including Co-Founder of Codex Protocol, Founder of Sheos, and Chief of Staff at Checkout.com. She has also been involved in academia as a Visiting Lecturer at Sotheby’s Institute of Art.

Jess holds two master’s degrees: one in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford and another in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art. She is also a member of the Bank of England CBDC Engagement Forum and a trustee of the Foundation for Art and Blockchain, reflecting her dedication to advancing technology and social impact initiatives.
