Jess Houlgrave

Jess Houlgrave is the current leader of Crypto GTM at Checkout.com, a prominent global fintech company that specializes in simplifying financial complexities and providing innovative digital payment solutions.

With a diverse background spanning finance, private equity, and blockchain technology, Jess previously served as Checkout's Chief of Staff from 2020 to 2022. She holds an MA in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford and another MA in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art.

Dedicated to creating an impact, Jess is involved in various organizations and initiatives. She is a member of the Bank of England CBDC Engagement Forum and is a founder and trustee of the Foundation for Art and Blockchain. Her interests lie in crypto, social impact, and promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) in the tech industry.

Jess Houlgrave's educational journey includes studying Physics, Chemistry, and Geography at Reed's School, and pursuing studies in Ballet and Theatre at the Suzanne School of Dance. She also studied at Rookwood School and holds Masters degrees from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford and Sotheby's Institute of Art.

Throughout her career, Jess held various key roles such as Chief Operating Officer at Edge, Founder of Sheos, Co-Founder of Codex Protocol, Visiting Lecturer at Sotheby's Institute of Art, and Chief Operations Officer at Codex Protocol. She also served as an Associate Portfolio Manager at Optrust, an Analyst at Credit Suisse, a Conference Manager at Oxford Analytica, and had a Development Internship at Exeter College, Oxford.
