Jess Cho

Jess Cho is currently leading the Credit Function at Loop Financial, a B2B fintech startup specializing in global businesses. Her role encompasses Product, Strategy & Operations, Portfolio Management, Risk Assessment and Monitoring, and Underwriting for corporate credit cards, PO financing, and Lines of Credit in multiple currencies up to $1M.

Before her tenure at Loop Financial, Jess played a crucial role at Mercury, where she was instrumental in scaling Mercury's first corporate charge card 'IO' and facilitating connections between startups and investors through the Mercury Raise platform. Prior to Mercury, she gained valuable experience in Legal, Compliance, and Risk at Brex.

Having secured significant credit acquisitions and managed a talented team at TD Bank, Jess brings a wealth of experience from the SF-based fintech industry. Her background includes pipelining/acquiring $7M - $10M in credit per quarter.

Jess Cho has a diverse educational background, having studied Political Science and Commerce at The University of British Columbia. She also engaged in the UBC GoGlobal Student Exchange Program, focusing on Technology, Media & Telecommunications at Yonsei University. Her academic journey began at Eric Hamber Secondary School.

Aside from her professional achievements, Jess is passionate about films, including reading scripts and screenwriting.
