Jesper Nordin is a leading Swedish composer and software developer born in 1971 in Stockholm.12 He is the CEO of Gestrument AB and the inventor of Gestrument, a musical tool he has used to compose music for ensembles and orchestras since 2007.13 Nordin is also the founder of Reactional Music (previously Gestrument), a music technology startup based on his composition technique.24
As a composer, Nordin has gained international acclaim for his music, which incorporates elements of traditional Swedish folk music, rock, and improvised music.2 His works have been performed by renowned conductors such as Esa-Pekka Salonen, Daniel Harding, and Kent Nagano, and have been commissioned by major orchestras including the San Francisco Symphony and the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic.2
