Jerry Ye is a research scientist/engineer with a strong background in large scale data mining, machine learning, natural language processing, and information retrieval. He is interested in problem areas that involve a convergence of these fields and is currently exploring the realm of venture capital. Jerry's specialties include machine learning, information retrieval, large scale data mining, Spark, Hadoop, MPI, and recommendation systems. He pursued his education at the University of California, Berkeley, studying MIMS in Information Management Systems and earning a BS in Electrical Engineering Computer Science.
