Jerry Chen

Jerry Chen is an accomplished investor, entrepreneur, and global strategist with extensive experience across three continents: Asia, Europe, and North America. With a biotech and engineering background, he has earned an MS in molecular photonics for bio- and nanotechnologies from École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay and an MBA from Collège des Ingénieurs in France. He is a balanced individual with international education in both technology and business, having worked in venture capital, startup consulting, and management in the United States, Germany, France, China, and Taiwan. He is fluent in English, Chinese, German, and French, and has developed excellent leadership and communication skills as a board member and country representative. As an investor at Mucker Capital, he has invested in companies such as Honey, which was acquired by PayPal for $4B. Jerry is passionate about using his multidisciplinary and multicultural experiences to help companies grow.

Jerry's diverse background makes him a valuable asset in a wide range of industries. Before joining Mucker Capital, he held a global strategy role at Bayer in Germany, Taiwan, and China, focusing on sales and marketing, new product launches, supply chain, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to that, he founded his own digital health startup and worked as a business consultant at AirLiquide, researcher at National Taiwan University, and scholar/consultant at McKinsey & Company. Jerry is also a board member of the alumni association of Tsinghua University, where he earned a BS in Electrical Engineering.
