    Jeroen Plag is an international banking professional with over 20 years of experience spanning across Europe, the US, Middle East, and Asia.

    His expertise includes general management, treasury, and relationship management within the ING Group, coupled with skills in strategy, business management, marketing, and communications.

    Previously, he served as the Country Manager for the Korea branch of ING Bank, where he also held leadership positions as Chairman of the Dutch Business Club Korea and Vice Chairman of the EUCCK Banking Committee.

    Upon returning to the Netherlands, Jeroen was appointed as the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Korea, showcasing his diplomatic acumen.

    His specialties lie in international banking, strategy, sustainability, marketing and communications, business development, as well as relationship and business management.

    Jeroen Plag's educational background includes studying Leading the Business of Sustainability at INSEAD, a BA in Japanese language and economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and a BA in International Management from Hogeschool Rotterdam.

    Currently, he holds the position of Head of Corporate Strategy at ING and has previously served as the Honorary Consul General for the Republic of South Korea.
