Jeroen Douglas is a dedicated advocate for sustainable agriculture, aiming to enhance wealth distribution and well-being for smallholder farmers and workers in the tropics through innovative solutions and equitable practices.

With a background in Theology and Cultural Anthropology from Radboud University Nijmegen, Jeroen brings a unique perspective to his role as Executive Director at Solidaridad Network, where he champions initiatives that support the poorest farmers and workers worldwide.

His extensive experience includes leadership positions at various renowned organizations such as Solidaridad Network, Global Roundtable for Sustainable Beef (GRSB), Bonsucro, Round Table on Responsible Soy Association (RTRS), MADE-BY, AgroFair, and Kuyichi Europe B.V., reflecting his commitment to driving positive change and sustainability in the agricultural sector.

Jeroen's focus on creating a more sustainable and equitable society extends to advocating for regenerative and climate-smart agriculture, promoting female entrepreneurship in the agricultural value chain, and fostering connections between farmers and high-impact markets both locally and internationally.

Through his work, Jeroen aims to foster a society that operates within planetary boundaries, prioritizes well-being for all individuals, and challenges the status quo of wealth distribution, advocating for a more inclusive and truth-driven economy.
