Jeremy Cole

Jeremy Cole is a prominent figure in the MySQL community with over 20 years of experience. He embarked on his MySQL journey in 1999, initially building Perl and PHP applications and making contributions to MySQL 3.23. Over the years, Jeremy has managed some of the largest MySQL server clusters globally, spanning thousands of machines. He boasts of creating a customized version of MySQL 5.5 and has dedicated extensive time to enhancing MySQL and InnoDB internals. Throughout his illustrious career, Jeremy has held various significant roles at prestigious organizations such as Shopify, Google, Twitter, Schooner Information Technology, Gazillion Entertainment, Proven Scaling LLC, Yahoo! Inc., MySQL AB, InterAccess, LLC, and KC Multimedia. Jeremy's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.
