Jerel Booker is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse educational background. He holds a Juris Doctorate from Howard University School of Law, a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Public Relations from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Science in Criminology/Criminal Justice from University of Baltimore. Jerel has held various significant roles in different organizations, including serving as the Assistant Commissioner for College Readiness and Success at the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, Executive Director - Tx at Stand for Children, and Associate Commissioner of Educator and Student Policy Initiatives at the Texas Education Agency.
