Jens Zimmermann

Jens Y. Zimmermann is a senior investment professional and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, and impact investing across Western and Emerging Markets. He is currently a Board Member at G3niu7 Inc (Hello Genius), a disruptive platform for adaptive learning, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Zimmermann has co-founded 20 companies in four countries and served on over 25 boards, focusing on high-growth markets since 2005, particularly in education and impact investing.1

He is also the Co-Founder of ALMA Investments, a social impact fund centered on education, and holds board positions in several prominent organizations, including Beaconhouse Group and Kaizenvest. Previously, he was a Partner & Managing Director at New Silk Route Growth Capital, managing a $1.3 billion fund focused on South Asia and other emerging markets. Zimmermann holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Diplom-Kaufmann degree in International Business from the University of Hamburg.1
