Jenny Burbage

Jenny Burbage, a highly accomplished individual, holds a PhD in Biomechanics from the University of Portsmouth, where she has been actively involved in academic research and teaching for several years.

Her primary research focus lies in breast biomechanics and functional breast support for female recreational athletes, a field she has been dedicated to since 2007. Jenny is a Principal Lecturer in Biomechanics at the University of Portsmouth, specializing in Sports Injuries & Rehabilitation, Applied Biomechanics, and Research Methods.

Apart from her teaching role, Jenny serves as the Recruitment & External Promotion Lead within the Department of Sport & Exercise Science, overseeing student admissions and external engagement.

Her educational background includes an MSc in Sport & Exercise Biomechanics from the University of Chichester and a BSc in Sports Science from the University of Portsmouth, showcasing her strong foundation in sports science and biomechanical principles.
