Jennifer Schaefer

Jennifer Schaefer, MS, TLLP, initially embarked on a successful 10-year career within the bustling film and television industry of Los Angeles, CA. Her passion for helping individuals and her penchant for critical thinking led her to transition into the field of counseling psychology, where she pursued and completed her Master of Science degree at Capella University. Currently, she serves as an intake clinician at MidMichigan’s Inpatient Psychiatric unit, enabling her to engage in fulfilling psychiatric consults within the emergency department, a task she particularly enjoys. Her tenure in a hospital environment has equipped her with a wealth of medical knowledge, complementing her strong critical thinking and therapeutic skills. Jennifer's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Ball State University.
