Jennifer McNab-Baumann is a renowned expert in data protection and information security management. With a vast experience of over two decades, she has carved a niche for herself in cyber and operational security, crisis management, privacy protection, and safety of consequential data. Jennifer is an author, speaker, advisor, and coach who believes that a pragmatic approach to leadership is key to a successful cybersecurity program. She is a CIO, CISO, CISSP, and CIPP/E certified professional and brings to the table a wealth of knowledge when it comes to GDPR compliance, privacy risk, standards, and compliance reviews, security architecture, and program development advisement, business continuity planning, guidance, and reviews, and IT organizational and operational effectiveness.

Jennifer's core competencies include enterprise privacy program and data safety assessment, pragmatic selection and application of technical and architectural defenses, identifying enterprise centers of risk and mitigation strategies, effective crisis response, mandatory and policy-based action in breach, EU technology, data protection, and cross-border data privacy, and enterprise crisis management and communications. Jennifer has worked with several organizations in various roles, including Global Director of Security, Governance, Privacy, and Business Protection, CIO Major Cable Television Network, Founding Member of CIO Executive Council, Vice President Tech Strategies Global Corporate Finance at a Major Money Center Bank, and Researcher - Physical Anthropology, Paleopathology, and Forensics at the American Museum of Natural History.

A graduate of SUNY Binghamton with a specialization in Physical Anthropology and an AA in History from Rockland Community College, Jennifer pursued an MS, PhD ABD in Forensic Anthropology, Paleopathology, and BioBehavioral Sciences from The University of Connecticut. Jennifer is currently serving as a Senior Privacy Consultant at TrustArc and has previously been associated with several other organizations, including CYBERITE LLC, Institute For Applied Network Security (IANS), and A+E Networks.
