Jennifer McBride

Jennifer McBride is the Associate Rector for Formation at All Saints' Episcopal Church in Atlanta, Georgia.12 She has held this position since October 2022.1 Dr. McBride has an extensive background in theology and education.

Education and Academic Career

Jennifer McBride received her Bachelor's degree in Religion/Religious Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1996-1999) and her Ph.D. and M.A. in Religion/Religious Studies from the University of Virginia (2001-2008).1

Prior to her current role, Dr. McBride held several academic positions:

• Associate Dean of DMin Programs and Associate Professor of Theology and Ethics at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago (2016-2022)
• Regents Chair of Ethics and Assistant Professor of Religion at Wartburg College (2011-2016)
• Postdoctoral Fellow in Religious Practices and Practical Theology at Emory University (2008-2009)1

Current Role and Responsibilities

As the Associate Rector for Formation at All Saints' Episcopal Church, Dr. McBride is part of the clergy team led by Rector Simon Mainwaring.2 Her role focuses on spiritual formation and education within the church community.
