Product Management | Digital Experience

During my tenure with Nordstrom, I supported several key spaces, including Credit, Payments, Loyalty & Marketing.

My focus was driving strategy and multi-year roadmapping in partnership with our business partners to ensure we delivering high-value, intentional, relevant experiences for our customers and store associates. This included, but was not limited to, launching a new, simplified digital credit application; a QR Code in app feature for our customers to shop card free in store; new BNPL payment types. Additionally, we made tremendous strides in our data accuracy and data modernization activities. 

Additionally, we focused on building and launching the relevant experiences and capabilities to communicate with our customers in a targeted, tailored, intentional way, and that we empower our business teams with the tools they need to support the stores (and digital presence) as impactfully as possible to drive strong results!

Director of Product Management | Credit, Payments, Loyalty & Marketing

Oversaw the product strategy and roadmap for the Brightwell global remittance business through data-driven prioritization and collaboration with internal business units and external financial partners, such as Moneygram, Western Union, Visa, and others. Led the product and design departments, pairing closely with engineering to drive business objectives. Provided agile coaching for cross-functional squads (primarily Scrum and Kanban).

During my time at Home Depot, I managed the product management teams for Store Checkout and Asset Protection. Our teams were co-located, cross-functional (Product, UX and Engineering sit together) and responsible for building and maintaining the software that runs checkout and returns at all Home Depot stores in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico.

The most important aspect of my role was empowering my teams to build awesome software that created an intuitive experience for our customers and associates. I helped ensure our teams were adhering to strong product and agile practices, were consistently testing and learning and were driving roadmaps and prioritization based on value and data. I was lucky to work with highly talented, driven people who are passionate about Home Depot and taking our business to the next level.

Manager, Product Management | Store Checkout + Asset Protection

I served two core roles during my time at the Rollins Center, a non-profit program of the Atlanta Speech School: one as the head of digital + product strategy and the other as an agile process consultant.

In my role as AD of Digital and Product Strategy, I oversaw all efforts for our learning management system, the Cox Campus. Our vision is that by the year 2020, all teachers in Georgia who work with children from birth – 3rd grade will use the platform to enhance their education and classroom teaching practices through our research-based strategies. I guided the digital strategy team, comprised of both internal team members and a digital marketing agency partner, through monthly sprints to reach our user acquisition and retention goals. I oversaw our product management and worked closely with our product manager to guide our efforts in building sustainable, viable software and features for our growing user base through user testing, data analysis and empathy-based development. 

I also served as an agile process consultant, where I was responsible for helping Rollins move towards an agile framework for our project and product management, using lean principles to guide our efforts. This entailed training the staff on the tenants of agile methodologies, coaching the teams through ceremonies, planning and sprinting, retrospectives, and so on, and helping to transition the current project manager into her redefined role. Because of this shift, we saw significant improvements in our team’s time to market, efficiency, organization and team work.

Assistant Director, Digital + Product Strategy (Consultant)

As Director of Digital Strategy for Nine Labs, I was responsible for both the overarching strategy for the Nine Labs brand, along with the to-market communication, marketing and brand strategies for our client accounts. Within this scope, my team handled everything from the initial market and audience research through the on-going digital strategy, creative execution and associated tactics to support our clients' businesses.  

Our digital strategy efforts included content development, creative, social media marketing, SEO | SEM, marketing automation, lead nurturing, list building, webinars and online training, and more. In short, we provided consulting and strategy on most digitally based efforts.

I also served as a member of the Nine Labs leadership team, where I worked alongside the CEO and CXO to set and support company direction, culture initiatives, team growth, and whatever else we needed to do to support our team.

Director of Digital Strategy

During my time as VP of Marketing & Client Services, I lead the Client Marketing and Scrum Master Departments and was a member of the 352 Leadership Team, helping to determine 352's vision and growth. 

In my role leading our Client Marketing efforts, I oversaw a team of marketers broken into three cross-functional, agile teams as we created and executed holistic marketing campaigns for our clients' digital efforts, ranging from SEO and Content Marketing to SEM/Paid Social Campaigns. I helped the teams build strong relationships with their clients, along with maintaining those myself, and oversaw the creative and strategic direction they took to achieve strong results. I was responsible for the department's P&L, contract negotiations, new client proposals, employee growth and development. 

My time with the Scrum Masters was primarily spent coaching them through the best implementation of Agile and Scrum practices given their teams' skill sets and objectives, along with providing resources and training surround data-driven metrics, team qualitative and quantitative growth, and conflict resolution. I provided mentorship surrounding client service best practices to provide the highest level of value, trust and progress for both the teams and our clients.

As a member of our 352 Leadership Team, I served next to our CEO, EVPs and fellow VPs, working to build a successful, impactful business and create a fun, trusting, energized work environment for our exceptionally talented staff.

VP, Marketing & Client Services

In my role as CSM and Department Head, my primary objective was to build healthy, cross-functional Scrum teams. I focused heavily on coaching our teams and my fellow Scrum Masters on Agile and Scrum implementation based upon their team dynamics and skill sets, client deliverable expectations and KPIs. I provided training surrounding data-driven metrics, team qualitative growth, and conflict resolution. I also served as the primary coach for our clients in their new Product Management roles and served as both the CSM and Product Manager for several projects.

Working with my own development teams, I lead all Sprint Ceremonies, coached the team through timeline and budget deadlines and served as the Account and Product Manager for our client relationships. My teams grew to become some of 352’s most reliable, trusted and productive, taking on several of our largest client accounts in both tenure and budget. 

Prior to 352's transformation to lean methodologies, I served as an Account Director for several our largest Waterfall accounts. I’ve managed up to 15 projects simultaneously, with budgets ranging from $50,000 to $3M+, lasting 2+ years in development and covering everything from web and collateral design to mobile app development.

As a Scrum Master working with multiple development teams, I lead all Sprint Ceremonies, coached the teams to meet timeline and budget deadlines and served as the Account Manager for our clients. I've worked with teams in all stages - from brand new to senior, and have effectively helped both groups grow.

Certified Scrum Master | Web Project Manager

Product Marketing and Brand Manager for product launch at General Nutrition Centers (GNC) nationwide, which, after launch, came to account for 70% of the total market share in the product category and saw growth of over 630% in a year’s time. Traveling domestically to GNC’s top 15 markets nationwide to conduct product trainings, enhance brand awareness and facilitate in-store sales and promotions. In 15 months, attained more than 200 media mentions, four awards and 10 nominations for the company and specific products. 

Managed the creation and production of all marketing materials, including brochures, catalogs, product sell sheets, advertisements, informational booklets and training manuals. Planned and executed company events, including trade shows and nationwide GNC manager trainings.
