Jennifer Johnson

Jennifer Johnson is a Climate Change Researcher turned Solar Energy Specialist and the Founder of Solar Connect, a solar energy company.

Jennifer's journey began with researching greenhouse gases at Oxford University, which led her to witness the renewable energy transformation in the UK while working as a Sales Engineer for a solar energy company in Cambridge.

She holds a Master's degree in Clean Energy Engineering from the University of British Columbia, where she enhanced her engineering and design skills by working on the Tŝilhqot’in National Government 1.25 MW Solar Farm, the largest solar energy system in BC.

Passionate about advancing solar energy, she is dedicated to growing the solar industry in British Columbia to create a cleaner and more sustainable future.

Jennifer's educational background includes a Master of Science in Physical & Theoretical Chemistry from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a Minor in Economics from the University of British Columbia.

Throughout her career, Jennifer has held various roles in organizations such as Solar Connect Company, David Suzuki Foundation, Novo Solar Solutions Inc., EcoSmart Foundation Inc., Solar Cloth Company, and Proof Communication UK, focusing on renewable energy, sustainability, and climate change research.

With extensive experience and expertise in solar energy, engineering, and sustainability, Jennifer Johnson is committed to driving positive change in the energy industry.
