Founder & Solar Energy Specialist
Jennifer Johnson is a climate change researcher turned solar energy specialist, and the Founder of the solar energy company Solar Connect.
With a background in Physical & Theoretical Chemistry from the University of Oxford and a Master's degree in Clean Energy Engineering from The University of British Columbia, Jennifer has a strong educational foundation.
During her time in England, she worked as a Sales Engineer for a solar energy company in Cambridge, witnessing the renewable energy transformation and becoming a part of the movement towards sustainable energy solutions.
Upon returning to Vancouver, Jennifer completed her Masters of Clean Energy Engineering and worked on the Tŝilhqot’in National Government 1.25 MW Solar Farm, the largest solar energy system in BC, with EcoSmart.
Passionate about the potential of solar energy, Jennifer envisions a cleaner and more sustainable future for British Columbia by advocating for the growth of the solar industry in the region.
Through her various roles in organizations such as Solar Connect, the David Suzuki Foundation, Novo Solar Solutions Inc., and others, Jennifer has accumulated extensive experience and expertise in the field of solar energy and sustainability.
With a track record of working with clean energy experts and contributing to the advancement of solar technology, Jennifer Johnson is a driving force in the transition towards renewable energy solutions in British Columbia.
