Jennifer Easterday

Jennifer Easterday is an attorney specializing in public international law, international criminal law, human rights law, and peacebuilding. Her dedication to strengthening international responses to armed conflict and mass human rights abuses is evident through her work with NGOs and academic institutions.

Jennifer holds a J.D. in Law from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, a PhD in Law from Leiden University, and a B.A. in Literatures of the World and Human Development from UC San Diego.

She is the Co-Founder & Executive Director of JustPeace Labs and has previously held positions such as Visiting Researcher at Universitat de Barcelona, Independent Consultant, Researcher at Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies, Trial Monitor/Consultant at Open Society Foundations, and more.

Jennifer's professional journey includes roles as a Legal and Program Officer at International Criminal Law Services, Volunteer at Human Rights Watch, Senior Researcher and Trial Monitor at the War Crimes Studies Center (University of California, Berkeley), and Law Clerk at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson, LLP among others.

Her experience extends to internships at various organizations including the Office of the President at ICTY, the Center for Justice and International Law (CEJIL) in Buenos Aires, and the California Asylum Representation Clinic. Additionally, she has served as a Clinic Associate at the International Human Rights Clinic and as an Account Coordinator at Text100.
