Jennifer Casto is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background. She holds a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree from the prestigious University of Virginia, in addition to studies at the renowned University of Oxford.
Jennifer has a wealth of experience in the field of gender equality, policy advising, and international development. She currently serves as the Regional Policy Advisor in the Secretary's Office of Global Women's Issues at the U.S. Department of State. Prior to this role, she was a Presidential Management Fellow at the same department.
Jennifer has also worked in various capacities at notable organizations. She has been a Gender Equality and Gender-based Violence Specialist as well as a Gender Integration Associate at EnCompass LLC. Additionally, she served as a Project Management Associate in the Southern Africa Region at Chemonics International.
Jennifer's commitment to gender issues is evident from her past experiences. She has been a Gender and Inclusive Development Graduate Intern at the Africa Bureau of USAID, a Gender-based Violence Legal Advocate at the Women's Resource Center, and a PEPFAR Health Extension Specialist with the Peace Corps.
Jennifer's passion for development work and gender equality has also led her to roles such as Gender, Youth, and HIV Specialist at World Vision, and Rural Education Development Specialist at the Peace Corps. Her wide-ranging experiences demonstrate her expertise and dedication to making a positive impact in the field of international development.
