Jennifer Caringella

Jennifer Caringella is a nurse educator and Assistant Professor at Elmhurst University.1 She holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree and is a Registered Nurse (RN).1 Caringella is a recipient of the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE) Nurse Educator Fellowship.1

As part of her professional development, Caringella has used her fellowship funds to:

1. Participate in preparation courses for CCRN and CNE certifications
2. Purchase study materials and register for certification exams
3. Invest in research, including a study on reducing exam anxiety in students
4. Enhance her flipped classroom approach with new supplies and programs
5. Maintain memberships in professional nursing affiliations such as NLN, AACN, and ANA1

Caringella is committed to continuing education and setting an example for her students in lifelong learning within the nursing profession.1
