Jenna Lewis
Psychology Teaching Assistant at San Diego State University, Graduating class of 2022
Jenna Lewis is a third-year Psychology major and Creative Writing minor at San Diego State University (3.8 Major GPA) aspiring to pursue graduate studies with a focus on neuropathology and/or psychopathology.
She is an active member of a student research team at SDSU investigating the impact of Zoom learning on student wellness.
Jenna has gained valuable experience as a Teaching Assistant in Academic & Career Psychology and as a volunteer at the Women's Resource Center, where she collaborated with diverse teams, conducted research on diversity and inclusion topics, and supported individual students' needs.
Outside of academia, Jenna served as a Co-Captain for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) team, Sophia's Struttin' Songbirds, leading fundraising efforts and educating the community about Type 1 Diabetes.
Throughout her academic journey, Jenna has emphasized experiential learning and cultural immersion, actively engaging in travel and planning to study abroad. Her diverse interests in psychology, travel, film, photography, editing, and writing shape her multifaceted skill set and define her future career aspirations.
She believes in seizing every experience as a chance for personal and professional growth, eagerly anticipating opportunities to refine her abilities and contribute meaningfully to any endeavor.
