Jen Tan attended Singapore Chinese Girls' School for her O levels and pursued a BA in Economics and Statistics at the National University of Singapore.

Throughout her career, Jen Tan has held significant roles in various organizations, including being the Head of Integrated Solutions at Sembcorp Singapore & SEA and formerly serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Solar Vertical at Sembcorp Industries Ltd.
