Jen Scungio is a seasoned communications and public affairs professional with nearly 15 years of experience in various fields such as communications, digital strategy, content creation, marketing, media relations, advocacy, writing, social media management, branding, advertising, storytelling, graphic design, website development, and UX strategy.
Currently, she holds the position of Digital Communications Manager at the American Clean Power Association, overseeing the organization's digital and social media initiatives. Previously, she spent a significant period working in communications and government relations within the banking and financial services sectors.
Jen Scungio is deeply passionate about clean energy, environmental issues, advocacy communications, politics, and the welfare of our oceans.
Her digital communications projects in the renewable energy, finance, and banking industries have received critical acclaim, being nominated for Webby and PR News Awards. Jen is known for her talents as a storyteller and writer and hails from Rhode Island.
She pursued her higher education at the University of Rhode Island, majoring in Journalism and Political Science, following which she completed her high school education at LaSalle Academy.
Throughout her career, Jen has held various roles in different prestigious organizations, including Digital Communications Manager at the American Clean Power Association (ACP) and Director of Communications and Digital Media at the Financial Services Forum. She has also worked extensively in communications and social media roles at the Financial Services Forum, along with other positions in media and journalism.
