Dr. Jen Petersen, an applied sociologist with over 20 years of experience, specializes in leading transformational design projects that provide practical solutions to client and customer needs.
With a Ph.D. in Urban and Political Sociology from New York University, Jen also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from Occidental College.
Throughout her career, Jen has held key roles in various organizations including Principal at Petersen Insights + Strategy, Senior Design Researcher at Local Logic, Leader of Social Research and Strategy at DIALOG, and many more.
She is skilled in problem-solving, team leadership, interdisciplinary collaboration, and consensus-building, living and working across the US/Canada border and emphasizing empathy and stakeholder engagement in her work.
