Jen Houghton

Jen Houghton is a dynamic professional with a strong educational background and extensive experience in the engineering and manufacturing fields.

Jen holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Manufacturing Engineering with a 2.1 classification from the prestigious University of Cambridge. Additionally, she pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Sustainable Development at the University of Sussex, showcasing her commitment to sustainable practices.

With a wealth of experience at Rolls-Royce, Jen has held various key roles such as QHSE Manager - Overhaul Network, Operations Improvement Lead, Quality Manager for Trent 1000, Trent 900 & Trent 500 engines, Supplier Quality Manager, and Production Manager for RB199 engines. She has also completed the Manufacturing Leadership Graduate Scheme at Rolls-Royce.

Prior to her tenure at Rolls-Royce, Jen undertook valuable internships at the UK Ministry of Defence, gaining insights into the defense industry. Her roles included Summer Internships at the Defence Support Group, Typhoon Team, and Turbines, highlighting her diverse skill set and adaptability.

Jen's professional journey commenced with a Manufacturing Engineer - Year in Industry Placement at Goodrich, setting a solid foundation for her subsequent career at Rolls-Royce.
