Jekia Cox

Jekia Cox is an experienced Senior Scientist in Microbiology with a strong background in the biotechnology and medical device industry.

With over 10 years of experience, Jekia is known for her superior analytical problem-solving skills and in-depth knowledge in antimicrobial therapy, antimicrobial drug development, MDROs, XDROs, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing.

She holds a Master of Science (MS) in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Microbiology from Thomas Jefferson University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Towson University.

Jekia has held key positions such as Senior Scientist Microbiology at Becton Dickinson, Medical Technologist at MedStar Health, and Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
