Associate Professor of Philosophy
Dr. Jeffrey Wilson is an accomplished academic with a strong background in Philosophy.
He obtained his PhD in Philosophy from Emory University and his BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences from St. John's College.
Currently, Dr. Wilson serves as an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Loyola Marymount University.
His extensive experience includes various leadership roles at Loyola Marymount University such as Associate Dean for Faculty Development, Associate Dean of the College of Communication and Fine Arts, Acting Senior Director of the Center for Undergraduate Teacher Preparation, and Acting Chair of the Department of Philosophy.
Dr. Wilson has also supervised Philosophy Teaching Fellows and previously held positions as an Assistant Professor of Philosophy and a Lecturer at various institutions including Loyola Marymount University, Georgia State University, and Emory University.
His academic journey began as a Graduate Teaching Associate and PhD Candidate at Emory University, where he honed his expertise in the field of Philosophy.
