Jeffrey Mitchell

Jeffrey Mitchell is a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional who has excelled in various roles, including sales, business development, human resource management, and organizational leadership. He holds an MBA in entrepreneurship and management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, a BA in human resource management and psychology from North Central College, and has studied business and philosophy as a study abroad student at the United States International University - Africa.

With a passion for helping others achieve their goals, Jeffrey values building strong relationships and doing business with integrity. He is skilled in leadership, public speaking, MS applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Publisher), and has extensive knowledge and interpretation of advanced statistics using SPSS. His experience in recruitment practices, job boards, cold calling, negotiation, and international project management have given him a competitive edge. Jeffrey is skilled in networking, has a wealth of knowledge in the East African region (specifically Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania), and also has experience in non-profit organization leadership and fundraising.

As a former executive director/founder of Close to the Heart International, Jeffrey believes in using philanthropy to be a progressive force for social change. He also has a passion for career counseling and outplacement, which allows him to help others leverage their skills and expertise in the professional world.
