Laughman's leadership abilities are founded in his investment and technology opportunities for financial partners, with a strong emphasis on technology, analytics, and disciplined decision-making to strengthen collaboration and communication.

He has a diverse range of skills, including operating models, capital evaluation, digital transformation, portfolio management, and blockchain/decentralized applications. Additionally, he is experienced in risk assessment, business development, data commercialization, and data pipelines.

Laughman previously held multiple leadership roles at UBS Investment Bank, including Head Portfolio Market Risk and Product Manager, Client Management. He was also formerly Lead - Digital Transformation (Analytics, Data) at Milestone and worked as an Analyst in Fixed Income Credit Markets at JP Morgan Asset Management.

Laughman holds a Master of Business Administration with Honors from the University of Washington, a business Analytics Degree from Harvard, and a Bachelor's Degree in Finance summa cum laude from Boston College. Currently, he serves as the Global Head of Operations & Program Management at DirectBooks
