Jeffrey D. Yergler, Ph.D., is a Professor of Management and the Chair of the Undergraduate Management Department at Golden Gate University (GGU) in San Francisco, California. He has a diverse educational background, holding a BA in Psychology from Westmont College, an M.Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary, a D.Min. from Columbia Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University.12
Before transitioning to academia in 2007, Dr. Yergler spent 22 years in senior leadership roles within large nonprofit and sectarian organizations. He began his teaching career at Olympic College, where he served as the lead faculty for organizational leadership and resource management. In 2011, he joined GGU, where he teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses, including Management Principles and Organizational Leadership, while also overseeing the Undergraduate Management Department.123
In addition to his academic responsibilities, Dr. Yergler is the principal of Integer Leadership Consulting, which focuses on leadership management training, executive coaching, and organizational culture. He has published research on employee engagement and has extensive experience in designing leadership training programs for various organizations.123
