Jeffrey Colt

Jeffrey Colt is passionate about the outdoors and public lands, advocating for outdoor recreation as a means to foster community, healing, inspiration, and life-changing experiences. With a diverse background in geology, carpentry, orchard work, and event organization like pig roasts, Jeffrey embraces activities like skiing and long-distance running.

Jeffrey pursued a Bachelor's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences at Middlebury College after completing his education at Hanover High School.

His professional journey includes roles such as Brand Director at zipfit.eu, Outdoor Product Tester at OutdoorGearLab, Field Representative at Protect Our Winters, and various positions at Backbone Media, LLC in PR and account management. In the outdoor realm, Jeffrey also served as an Assistant Director of Ski Patrol at Middlebury College Snow Bowl and undertook roles in property maintenance, logistics, and construction at different organizations.

During his tenure as a Hermit Lake Caretaker, Hutmaster, and Naturalist at the Appalachian Mountain Club, Jeffrey honed his passion for outdoor advocacy and community-building.
