Jeffrey Brewer

Jeffrey Brewer is the President and CEO of Bigfoot Biomedical, a company focused on developing innovative diabetes management solutions. He co-founded Bigfoot Biomedical in 2015 after previously serving as the President and CEO of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) from 2010 to 2014. His involvement in diabetes care began personally when his son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) in 2002, which motivated him to pursue advancements in diabetes technology.

Under Brewer's leadership, Bigfoot Biomedical has developed the Bigfoot Unity Diabetes Management System, which integrates continuous glucose monitoring data to provide real-time insulin dosing recommendations. This system aims to simplify insulin management for patients on multiple daily injections, addressing the complexities of diabetes care and improving overall health outcomes.134

Brewer has a background in technology entrepreneurship, having founded and led several companies prior to Bigfoot Biomedical, including Overture Services and Ticketmaster-Citysearch.
