Jeff Schar

Jeff Schar is a Managing Director at Sendero Consulting, where he leads the healthcare practice. With over 20 years of consulting leadership experience, he has played a crucial role in shaping Sendero's approach to clinical change management, patient engagement, and healthcare technology implementation. His expertise extends to organizational effectiveness, change leadership, process design, mergers and acquisitions, and system integration.1

Schar holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information and Operations Management from Texas A&M University and an MBA in Organizational Leadership and Strategy from Southern Methodist University. His leadership experience spans various sectors, including operations, IT, human resources, and finance, and he has managed large-scale program implementations, particularly with ERP solutions like SAP.1

In 2023, he was elected to the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Chapter of HIMSS, where he advocates for health information technology professionals in Nashville. Schar is committed to developing his team and emphasizes the importance of people development within his organization.23 Outside of work, he enjoys coaching his children, sports, music, cooking, and golfing, and is a dedicated Chicago Cubs fan.1
