Jeff Lysyczyn is the first Executive Director of the Rutherford Arts Alliance, appointed to this position in 2024.12 He brings a wealth of experience from the music industry, having been active for over 25 years in various roles including artist manager, major label employee, PR and marketing consultant, and staff songwriter.1
Background and Education
Lysyczyn is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, where he studied in the University College with an emphasis in recording industry.2 He also attended Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaigua, NY, majoring in Audio Recording and Music Theory.1
Professional Experience
Throughout his career, Lysyczyn has:
- Co-founded Big Show Music Co. in 2007, which helped revitalize the careers of veteran recording artists and launched the careers of developing talents such as Joe Diffie, Alex Williams, Lorrie Morgan, and Raul Malo.12
- Worked as an adjunct instructor in the Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business at Belmont University.1
- Hosted the "Music Business After Dark" vlog.1
Role at Rutherford Arts Alliance
As the first Executive Director of the Rutherford Arts Alliance, Lysyczyn's responsibilities include:
- Increasing the membership and volunteer base of RAA
- Grant writing and fundraising
- Expanding the organization's social media footprint
- Promoting and preserving the mission of the organization12
