Jeff Lawniczak is an accomplished talent acquisition executive with over 25 years of experience in the entertainment and video game software industry. He has demonstrated successful strategies in acquiring and retaining talent, managing recruitment teams on a global scale to meet business objectives, and exceeding them. He has designed, developed, and implemented policies and creative recruitment techniques to build and retain AAA game start-ups from half a dozen developers to over 100-250 developers. Some of the global franchise titles he has built include Gex, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Madden Football, Need for Speed, James Bond, Majestic, VainGlory, Rocksmith, Southpark, and many others.
Jeff has held senior technical recruitment positions at various companies such as Ubisoft, Red 5 Studios, Reef Internet, Electronic Arts, Universal Interactive, Crystal Dynamics, Sega Technical Institute, Epyx, and SearchTek, where he has recruited, managed, and directed teams of recruiters to exceed the hiring metrics and administration functions.
Jeff's expertise lies in managing global recruitment teams in Europe and Asia, driving employment marketing initiatives, branding campaigns, internal referral programs, university/college recruitment efforts, retention programs, compensation, and employee stock options/bonus programs. He has managed and mentored teams that went on to create innovative games with tremendous global success, working closely with renowned game producer Mark Cerny to build the original Crystal Dynamics and Naughty Dog teams.
