Jampol is a Grammy-winning and Emmy-nominated producer who has worked on projects like the Doors documentary "When You're Strange" and the Broadway musical "A Night With Janis Joplin".12 He is also an Adjunct Professor at UCLA, teaching courses on the music business, marketing, branding, and deal negotiation.12
As the longtime manager of the John Lee Hooker estate, Jampol recently helped conclude a deal with BMG to acquire Hooker's music interests, including his publishing catalog, recorded and performance royalties, and select recordings.34 Jampol will remain in a consulting and management role for Hooker's legacy going forward in partnership with BMG.34
