Jeff Green (they/he)

Jeff Green (they/he) is an experienced professional with a diverse background in technology and fintech.

Having studied Computer Science at Vanderbilt University at both the master's and PhD levels, as well as Mathematics at Reed College, Jeff possesses a strong educational foundation.

With a wealth of experience in engineering and management roles, Jeff has held positions such as Director of Engineering, Senior Engineering Manager, and various other technical leadership roles at companies like Affirm, Disqus, Urban Airship, and Content Analytics, Inc.

Jeff's career journey includes stints as a Senior Systems Engineer at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, a Mathematician at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, and a Research Assistant at the Institute for Software Integrated Systems at Vanderbilt.

Jeff has also contributed to academia as an Academic Researcher at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and held an internship position at NASA Ames Research Center.

Currently, Jeff is part of Affirm's checkout organization, where they are instrumental in improving financial services to make them more transparent, honest, and inclusive for consumers.

In this role, Jeff oversees both server-side and client-side aspects of the checkout experience, helping consumers better understand their purchasing power and navigate the checkout process smoothly.
