Jeff Burkhart

Jeff Burkhart is a seasoned engineering leader with a passion for creating effective teams that deliver value. He has extensive experience in data engineering, server engineering at scale, agile methodologies, and building and managing remote teams. Jeff has worked in a variety of industries, including consumer electronics, life sciences, media, and technology tools, and is well-versed in AWS, microservices, SOA, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Lambda, open-source software, Kafka, MySQL, and NoSQL. He is also proficient in Python, Java, C++, design patterns, Git, Jira, Linux, OpenAPI, and Docker, and has experience in change management, process development, ISO 27001, and open-source compliance.

Jeff holds a bachelor's degree in computer and information science from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He has held various senior engineering leadership positions throughout his career, including Senior Director of DevOps at Sleep Number LABS, Senior Engineering Director at Zymergen, Inc., and Engineering Director at Attensity and TiVo. Additionally, Jeff has held leadership roles at Technorati Media, LiveScribe, Premiere Retail Networks, Embarcadero Technology, and CloudSource.
